eCommerce Business Systems Analyst

Located in Grand Rapids Michigan

Our client, the nation s largest provider of services in their area of expertise, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst specializing in eCommerce Application Support Specialties and Services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Application: Provide application support services for customers and eCommerce platform members
Provide hands-on production support for eCommerce platform external and internal applications
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex processing, application usage, or business issues
? Track and manage application support tickets, production defects, and change requests to ensure optimal customer experience
? Take ownership of issues and troubleshoot, debug, and identify programming, performance, feature/functional issues
? Manage all assigned tasks and report status to IT Operations Lead and customers
Proactively monitor application health to identify application issues or areas of leverage
Improve accuracy, productivity, supportability and efficiency through automation of repeatable tasks using tools and scripting
Accountability to drive measurable customer improvement opportunities
Manage and communicate service level reports, site metrics, and key performance indicators to stakeholders
Manage communications on releases, maintenance, critical incidents, and site issues
As needed, coordinate infrastructure and team member workstation support needs with managed services partner
Analysis: Collaborate with business and IT team members to develop long term business solutions
Elicit and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
Add value by understanding the business strategy and providing recommendations on how best to meet our goals
Partner with development and operational teams across the organization and vendors to improve customer experience
Participate in the development and improvement of new or existing operational tools, reports, and customer service support.
Testing: Provide testing services for new applications and updates to existing applications.
Create, edit and update test plans, cases, and scripts ensuring proper level of testing.
Execute test cases and scripts
Log and track issues (bugs)
Perform Data Validation
Implement and maintain regression test cases
Assist developers with debugging defects\Prod tickets by reproducing them in the Test Environment;
Lead testing automation effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing process

REQUIREMENTS:
Broad technical knowledge, with hands-on experience supporting eCommerce and internal applications
Strong Knowledge of relational databases along with SQL / TSQL skills to triage issues and perform data update
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
Application support experience
Experience with functional/black-box testing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, collaborative, flexible, and creative
Willingness to do whatever task is needed to ensure the IT Team and eCommerce platform success
Passion for process and quality that increase business value
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent

Bonus Prerequisites:

Experience monitoring and supporting cloud applications
Experience using application monitoring tools such as Stackify or Splunk
Experience in the following technical areas
o Object-Oriented Programming using C#/ VB.NET /
o Client-side programming using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
o Experience with ASP.NET and standard Integrated Development Environments (IDE) such as Visual Studio
o Reporting tool experience in Reporting Server
o Experience with SQL Server
Demonstrated experience in user story development and agile environments
Demonstrated experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution.
