Job Description
Our client, a leading distribution company, is seeking a dynamic 2 experienced Warehouse Managers to join the operations in Cartersville, GA. These roles are pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of orders, inventory management, and overseeing a team of 30-50 employees. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for logistics, and a drive to optimize operations, this opportunity is for you.
1st shift hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p
2nd shift hours: Sun-Thurs: 2:30p-11p
Will oversee 5 Supervisors and 30-50 warehouse employees.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day outbound shipping operations
- Ensure efficient processing and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Manage and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 20-25 direct reports, fostering a positive work environment.
- Analyze operational trends and data to drive improvements and efficiencies.
- Manage budgeting for labor costs, capital projects, and other financial aspects of warehouse operations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management of warehouse operations.
Preferences:
- Background in Six Sigma methodologies (highly preferred).
