Job Description

Our client in Battle Creek, MI is actively looking for an Accounting Specialist/Treasury Analyst to join their team for a 6+month contract position!

Position overview:
This role will be integral to finalizing the setup for our clients' banking structure and hedging programs. You will work collaboratively with the Treasury team supporting reporting and documentation as well as proactively engaging with the team for additional learning opportunities. 
Primary responsibilities will include coordination with financial institutions to complete setup of bank accounts and account services, with third party vendors to complete setup of the Treasury Management System (TMS) and the Hedging System, and with internal partners to validate setup. Additionally, this role will formalize documentation for procedures.

Job Requirements

  
Experience Required:
  • Strong accounting/finance experience 
 
Experience Preferred:
  • 2+yrs of experience setting up a treasury management system
  • 2+yrs of experience with treasury, accounting, derivatives and hedging on FX
  • Experience working with banking relationships and setting up accounts 
 
Required:
Bachelor's degree in finance/business related field

Contract positions
