This role is responsible for overseeing transportation operations across the Western region, managing a team of transportation professionals, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective product movement while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a regional transportation team in coordinating and scheduling activity.
- Create a positive, communicative work environment.
- Collaborate with carriers, purchasing, operations, and sales to optimize logistics and reduce costs.
- Handle resolution of carrier and plant operational issues.
- Negotiate rates/contracts in collaboration with management.
- Monitor and refine internal transportation processes to align with business metrics.
- Manage private fleet drivers and equipment for profitability.
- Act as a change agent—implement new processes and drive improvements.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5+ years of transportation experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000
- Bonus/Incentives: May include production bonuses, trip rates, referral bonuses, and discretionary annual bonus.
