Training Development Specialist

Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Training Program Development Specialist within their Manufacturing process area for a 8 Month + Contract. Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Helps to identify and respond to learning needs across the company. Develops new training programs using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Creates program guidelines, training outlines, and course materials. Able to both conduct classes for end users and to deliver train-the-trainer sessions. Design evaluation tools and review effectiveness of training programs. Requires command of MS Office applications, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and engaging classroom presence.
Assist in documenting and developing a process for assigning training to production personnel.
Coordinate activity with process owners and HR to define roles and required training.
Coordinate curriculum and user group improvement efforts including, but not limited to:
o Cleanup of data bases to reflect current needs.
o Tracking and coordinating curriculum and user group improvements
o Meeting with process owners to assist in analyzing current role-based training assignments.
Assist in collecting training needs of functional areas.
Distribute weekly reporting and communication on as part of project status.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
o Pivot tables
o Data mining
o Visual Basic programming is a plus (not a requirement)
ComplianceWire knowledge is a plus
Project Management skills are a plus
Bachelor s degree required
