Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated Technical Operator to join their Production team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency within the production process. Under the supervision of the area Supervisor, the Technical Operator will be instrumental in executing production tasks in line with the company's stringent specifications, policies, and standards. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of products that meet FDA and ISO regulations, highlighting the importance of precision, quality, and safety in the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with FDA and ISO regulations.
  • Assemble components accurately according to specifications.
  • Operate packaging machines as required.
  • Perform bar sealing/tray sealing and pad printing duties with attention to detail.
  • Assemble and inspect components that have tight tolerances, complex, and miniature geometries.
  • Utilize laser and resistance welding equipment proficiently.
  • Conduct inspections and assemblies under magnification to ensure quality.
  • Exhibit advanced dexterity in handling very small or miniature components and equipment.
  • Execute equipment-intensive assembly processes and make necessary adjustments as authorized.
  • Learn complex assembly process instructions effectively, with minimal need for retraining.
  • Follow all internal and external safety procedures diligently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
  • Engage actively in rapid movement events to enhance production efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or an equivalent certification is preferred.

Experience:
  • At least one year of external manufacturing work experience.

Skills/Competencies:
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and following specification sheets.
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling tolerances and variations.
  • Skilled in using measuring devices and hand tools.
  • Independent worker with minimal supervision requirement.
  • Knowledgeable in various hand tools (e.g., Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers).
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for relaying concerns or issues to support staff.
  • Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, twisting, standing, and significant hand use.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50lbs.
  • Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as required, including protective eyewear, earplugs, hairnet, and protective gowning.
