Job Description

Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Supply Planning Data Analyst for a 9 Month+ Contract opportunity. The role's purpose is to support the overall supply plan for the specific plant specifically, data gather & reporting around the performance KPIs, documentation of processes. The role will interface with production scheduling, procurement, customer service Demand Planning, IBP management, finance, production scheduling and global process excellence to communicate what needs to be produced and purchased to the manufacturing and supply base 


 
Responsibilities and Requirements

 

  • Support the creation of standard set of KPI reports and diagnostics on the root causes of performance and proposed mitigation / corrective actions needed to improve performance. 
  • Support the creation of content in conjunction with the supply planner for the weekly demand and supply execution process to include back order status update and forward risks 
  • Support the creation of content for the monthly site supply review process within the franchise in conjunction with the supply planner. To ensure review content is complete and has all key information for the management team to make decisions. 
  • Support current local tool development and maintenance such as capacity planning, safety stocks and MRP processes 
  • Support the creation of management reports within supply planning that support operationalizing of the core processes and provide insight to the planning team. 
  • Support the creation of executive communication for weekly and monthly updates in supporting the Supply planning franchise lead to highlight key issues. 
  • Support the creation of inventory analysis, in regard to visibility and tracking of excess, obsolescence and deviations to control points 
  • KPIs for the role will be Supply Plan Attainment, Safety Stock Health, Capacity Utilization, Back order and Lead time 
  • Support the creation of a Master Resource Plan(MRP) based on the latest demand signal to cover what needs to be produced or purchased as a finished product and to ensure that within the process there is sufficient raw materials and components to support the required supply plan up to a 24-month time horizon 
  • Work under the supervision of the Supply Planning manager in Setting of the correct levels of inventory (safety stocks) within the supply plan by understanding the demand volatility and supply chain lead times 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 2 years in a reporting or analytics role 
  • Experience in Microsoft office applications specifically PowerPoint and excellent skills in MS Excel 
  • Planning (MRP) system experience to include use of SAP as a minimum requirement or equivalent ERP systems 
  • Experience in using BI/Tableau software packages.
