Supply Chain Data Analyst - VIRTUAL

The Senior supply chain data analyst will work primarily on a SAP integration initiative. You will be responsible for understanding business needs and complexities, eliciting and documenting requirements, and locating and extracting data to meet those requirements. You must be proficient with SQL, ERP Systems (specifically SAP), Business Intelligence tools, and supply chain operations. This role requires a solid foundation in data analytics and the processes and tools employed in data analytics.

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)

• Understand what data the business requires and where to find it in the ERP system database (SAP HANA) 
• Work with data engineering to transform source data to meet the input requirements for data models and visualizations 
• Work with business stakeholders and the data analytics team to validate and verify the completeness of data 
• Assess gaps and anticipate future business needs to decide what detail to include in data extraction 
• Develop and modify SQL queries to efficiently transform large amounts of data into usable data sets for Power BI models and business users. 
• Work with the data analytics manager and data engineering to develop common definitions and nomenclature of calculations, measures, views, etc. 
• Document all source queries, transformations, etc. in conformance with established standards. 

Requirements

• Experience with ERP systems (ideally with SAP), supply planning and Integrated Business Planning. 
• Experience with dashboard development including concept design and build. Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is required 
• Proficient with SQL (ideally SAP HANA and MS SQL Server) and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses required. 
• Experience with data manipulation, modeling, and automation and the ETL process required. 
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud-based analytics tools is beneficial. 
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Computer/Data Science, Engineering, or related field. 
• A minimum of two years Supply Chain experience is beneficial
