Job Description

An iMPact Business Group client is seeking to hire a Supplier Quality Engineer. This role is with a highly successful manufacturing client in the precision manufactured components industry.

This role will focus on -

  • Evaluating suppliers' production processes, quality systems, and capabilities to ensure they can meet defined quality requirements.
  • Perform audits at supplier facilities to verify their compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Pinpoint defects and non-conformities in supplier products or services, and work with the suppliers to implement corrective actions.
  • Create and implement quality plans, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent quality across the supply chain.
  • Track and analyze supplier performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or related technical role.
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Management.
  • ASQC Certification

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
