Mechanical Assembly Supervisor
Location: Onsite - Pinellas Park
Position Type: Full-Time
Urgent Opportunity: We are in immediate need of an experienced and driven Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to lead our assembly team in the production of intricate mechanical systems. This role demands an individual with a sharp eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to upholding quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly
- Experience demonstrating effective team management and motivation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- In-depth knowledge of assembly techniques, tools, and equipment, with personal access to essential tools like calipers and micrometers.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
- Dedication to workplace safety protocols and practices.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
Supervise Assembly Operations
Lead and direct a team of mechanical assemblers to ensure timely and accurate completion of assembly tasks.
Oversee the assembly process to ensure that all components are assembled according to specifications and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and rectify any assembly errors or defects.
Manage the allocation of resources, including personnel, tools, and equipment, to optimize assembly efficiency and meet production targets.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to frequently lift and/or push/pull/transfer up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to occasionally push/pull/transfer up to 100 pounds.
