Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Stretch Blow Molding Field Process Engineer to join their growing team and support high-speed bottle processing projects. This role involves optimizing and troubleshooting PET stretch blow molding systems for leading brands in the beverage and packaging industries. This position is ideal for an engineer experienced in high-speed blow molding who is ready to drive process innovation and quality.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Set up and optimize PET stretch blow molding machines to improve performance and product quality
  • Develop and refine new blow molding processes and optimize existing ones to enhance efficiency
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to ensure continuous operation
  • Train team members and clients on equipment setup, process adjustments, and quality standards
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party contractors for project completion
  • Standardize processes through detailed documentation, scheduling, and analytical testing
  • Provide technical support and insights during product meetings to achieve quality and efficiency goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PET blow molding, ideally within the food and beverage sector
  • Deep understanding of high-speed blow molding equipment, including Sidel, KHS, and Krones/Kosme machines
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and control system knowledge
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time and availability for occasional weekend work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with management and clients

Preferred Skills

  • Experience developing Carbonated Soft Drink (CSD), Water, and Heat-set/Hot-fill processes
  • Hands-on experience with lab scheduling, machine change-overs, and process standardization
  • Ability to work independently and manage concurrent projects efficiently
  • Knowledge of different resins used in container production
