Sr. Project Manager

Responsible to manage the effective delivery of assigned programs/projects by providing end-to-end guidance from
solution design, requirement negotiation, issues escalation, resource allocation and monitoring program/project activities
throughout the entire development cycle. Responsible to lead program/project initiation, planning, development, execution,
implementation and communication pertaining to technology and business solutions. Facilitate the development of
program/project scope, goals and deliverables; define program/project tasks and resource requirements and develop full
scale program/project plans. Ensure that program/project goals are accomplished within defined time and budget and in
line with business objectives. Responsible for the management of assigned larger/complex programs/projects.
: Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of
education and/or experience.
: Five years progressive broad based information systems and business experience; prior program/project management
experience and skills (planning and organizing) to include implementing programs/projects or work process cycles
from inception to completion. Experience in technologic development and testing of applications desirable.
: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
: Lead cross functional teams to execute technology development programs/projects from concept to final
implementation. Manage multiple programs/projects and monitor associated risks to ensure programs/projects are
completed within schedule, budget and to specifications.
: Partner with functional business departments, sponsors and technology subject matter experts to define
program/project scope, plan, timeframe and resource allocation; develop cost estimate and technical implementation
strategies. Draft program/project budget proposal and produce program/project logs, statement of work and other
program/project documentation needed for funding approvals.
: Manage the planning, implementation and completion of assigned IT programs/projects; develop and define detailed
work plans and program/project deliverables. Develop and maintain program/project timelines and milestones. Ensure
appropriate approvals are obtained for each program/project phase and that team members have an understanding of
expectations, timelines, and scope.
: Responsible to ensure that work streams follow the standard procedures and program/project activities and
deliverables are fully in compliance with program/project management methodologies and key control policies.
Perform work stream assessment and evaluation through status reporting and team meetings.
: Ensure resolution of any high priority escalated cases; report schedule, budget and delivery details to business and IT
management. Advise management of interim plans, potential issues, mitigating strategies and implications of
requested scope or resource changes.
: Make recommendation for process improvements, operational efficiencies and systematic enhancements that would
help streamline issue documentation, triage and resolution. Identify issues and recommend process improvements,
operational efficiencies and systematic enhancements to streamline program/project management processes (i.E.,
issue documentation, resolution, etc.). Analyze program/project performance, create cost benefit analysis and
recommend or implement corrective actions to ensure program/project success and facilitate program/project change
: Establish and maintain strong working relationship with program/project sponsors and technical staff to ensure
alignment between solutions being delivered to business goals. Communicate cross functionally with program/project
team members to facilitate deviation from original specification and identify effective solution.
: Facilitate and lead program/project meetings. Provide work direction, technical and analytical guidance to
program/project team and to less experience associates. Brief the program/project team on status reporting, risk
identification, issue resolution, feedback and input from program/project planning team and/or business. Responsible
for program/project tracking, reporting, issue management and related escalations.
: Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best program/project management practices; make
recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSAs):
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact and influence associates and management at all levels.
Strong organizational, prioritization, program/project management, negotiation and leadership skills. Ability to resolve
issues with detail oriented approach and to resolve conflicting situations. Experience in analyzing and communicating
technical designs, program/project issues and status effectively. Ability to articulate technical information to a variety of
audiences. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project). May be required to travel up to 25%.
