Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of Engineered Architectural Solutions, is seeking a Senior Human Resource Business Partner for a direct hire position.
Position overview:
The Senior Human Resource Business Partner implements human resource programs and provides support in talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, benefits, training and development, records management, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations. The role encompasses HRBP support, employee relations, staffing and recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, benefit administration, and general HRIS/data processing tasks.
Skills Required:
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, HRIS systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage confidential information with discretion
- Ability to implement creative solutions and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate at all levels
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving mindset
Skills Preferred:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification
Job Requirements
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of experience in human resources and/or administration
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Familiarity with labor and employment law (NLRB, EEO, ADA, AA, FMLA, etc.)
- Recruiting and staffing practices
Experience Preferred:
- Experience managing HR functions independently in a plant or industrial setting
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field
- Equivalent experience may be considered
