Sr. ERP Project Manager (SAP APO)

Job Description
The SAP inventory management program manager will work with key stakeholders across the end to end supply chain. This position will focus on mapping current and future state and responsibilities of finished goods management through both the US and Int'l SAP implementations working cross functionally with applicable departments. This role sits within the Business to assist with management and mapping of needs from an AS IS to a TO BE state.
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Applying efficient and effective project management methodologies to build and manage a comprehensive inventory-focused project plan with inputs across multiple teams.
- Developing and driving project timelines, milestones, and schedules to ensure targets are met and contingency planning is in place.
- Leading cross-functional working sessions and regular project update meetings, including preparing agendas and supporting materials.
- Following up on open action items with team members and ensuring timely completion or identifying required support.
- Monitoring, documenting, and escalating project issues, risks, and decisions to team members and senior leadership.
- Documenting lessons learned and integrating them into future playbooks and best practices.
- Maintaining a shared repository for project documents and ensuring they are regularly updated and archived.
- Collaborating with leadership to define, manage, and own the SAP inventory program scope, including creating detailed work breakdown structures.
- Developing and managing the detailed program Gantt chart, analyzing critical paths and dependencies, and owning the program schedule.
- Mapping current and future state inventory processes including safety stock management, global allocations, PFEP integration, E&O, purchasing, and financial projections across global locations.
- Establishing protective cutover inventory plans for go-live periods.
- Proposing future state roles, responsibilities, and org structures aligned with the 2026 budget cycle.
- Developing and executing a program-level risk management plan to monitor and respond to potential risks.
- Estimating, acquiring, and assigning cross-functional program resources, defining roles and deliverables.
- Ensuring consistent leadership updates and reporting on program execution and progress.
- Developing and executing a communications plan to engage the program team, key stakeholders, and executive leaders.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 + years experience in Program Manager or leader capacity
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of large Global ERP Implementation initiatives and implementations
- Strong inventory management knowledge and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience with SAP Implementation Lifecycle with SAP SCM / APO with ATP or GATP is highly desired.
- APICS certification is a plus.
- Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to lead cross-functional meetings and manage a diverse program scope.
- Proven ability to influence without direct authority and build collaborative team environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects with competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to build business cases and drive data-informed recommendations.
- High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Clear communicator who keeps the customer at the center of decision-making.
- Comfortable working under pressure and navigating ambiguity.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
