Job Description
Our client is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Supply Chain Planning Analyst to support high-voltage utility operations. This role sits at the intersection of material planning, logistics coordination, and cross-functional collaboration-supporting field teams, engineering, and distribution partners. If you're experienced with SAP from a supply chain lens, comfortable in Excel and Power BI, and enjoy managing the movement of critical materials (like utility poles) to job sites, this could be a great fit!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and process material purchase requisitions and orders using SAP
- Work in Excel daily to track and analyze supply chain data and ensure timely material delivery
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the Lines Group, Project Engineering, and distributor partners
- Monitor delivery schedules, particularly for field-critical items such as utility poles
- Navigate Power BI dashboards to extract and interpret analytics to drive decision-making
- Maintain clear communication across stakeholders to ensure supply chain readiness and material availability
- Prepare and deliver visual updates or reporting via PowerPoint as needed
- Support logistics and material flow for high-voltage infrastructure and utility-related projects
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience using SAP in a supply chain or materials management environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work with Power BI for data navigation and basic analysis
- Solid understanding of logistics, purchase orders, and material planning workflows
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Ability to work onsite at least 3 days a week in Jackson, MI (with flexibility as needed)
