Job Description

Our client, an automotive manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area, is looking for a Sr Quality Engineer to join their team!

This position will involve: 
  • Will have a focus on APQP 
  • Making sure the highest quality of parts are delivered to the customers Supporting suppliers, customers, operations and program launches
  • Ensuring TS16949 compliance Internal Auditing PPAP submissions
  • Developing and managing quality systems
  • Supporting corrective action processes
  • Problem solving Analysis of quality documentation Customer interaction/communication
  • Creating/writing quality plans and procedures
  • Making sure job performance standards are met
  • Collaborating with other departments on continuous improvement projects. 

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of  automotive manufacturing experience in quality
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
  • Fast paced, motivated personality
  • Lean Manufacturing experience

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
