Sr HR Generalist
Grand Rapids, MI 49512 US
This person will be responsible for managing talent management, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and learning and development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of elevating the HR function to a more strategic level, and able to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's overall strategy and objectives.
* Lead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent in a challenging and competitive automotive industry.
* Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
* Oversee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
* Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
* Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
* Implement performance management programs to ensure employee productivity and engagement.
* Partner with senior management to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive change management initiatives.
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
* Minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting
