Vice President - IT Applications (Enterprise SAP SD)
The Vice President of IT Applications provides global leadership for enterprise applications with a primary focus on SAP Sales, Distribution, and Logistics (SAP SD). This role owns the application strategy, roadmap, integration, and operational excellence across international sales, manufacturing, and distribution environments. The VP partners closely with executive and business leaders to ensure enterprise systems enable growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
Lead the global SAP application strategy with emphasis on SAP SD, order-to-cash, pricing, fulfillment, and logistics integration.
Drive ERP and application roadmap execution across sales, manufacturing, and distribution operations.
Align enterprise applications with business strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Establish and manage a vendor partner model across ERP and integrated platforms (SAP, CRM, HRIS, data platforms).
Own system governance, application ownership (business and technical), and backlog prioritization.
Ensure disaster recovery planning, system resiliency, and compliance.
Oversee budgets, vendor negotiations, and resource planning.
Lead cross-functional enterprise initiatives from approval through implementation using formal project and change management disciplines
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
18+ years of ERP leadership, with significant hands-on experience delivering enterprise SAP SD implementations in global environments.
Proven success supporting sales, distribution, logistics, and manufacturing operations through SAP.
Experience leading global IT application teams and complex system integrations.
Strong understanding of data platforms, system integration, and cloud architectures.
Demonstrated ability to partner with executive stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Education
Bachelor's Degree required; emphasis in Accounting, Business, IT, or equivalent experience.
Travel
Up to 40%, based on business needs
