Duties and Accountabilities
Ensure all security technologies are appropriately managed, resilient, documented and are in line with industry best practices.
Develop security programs and security related process flows
Participate in Firm projects and initiatives, with a focus on the security infrastructure product portfolio.
Provide advice and consultancy to senior management regarding the development, implementation and administration of security-related policies and procedures.
Proactively manage, maintain and monitor the security infrastructure and make technical recommendations based on these metrics.
Actively monitor new and emerging security infrastructure-related technologies, trends, issues and solutions.
Coordinate and perform internal/external security risk reviews.
Prepare information security assessment reports to highlight identified information security risks.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant work experience.
5+ years IT security experience for a medium to large geographically dispersed enterprise including support of a Security Operations Center (SOC).
Interest to take a leadership role on in the near future.
Ideally be CISSP qualified or working towards this qualification.
Practical experience in implementation of security technologies in a datacenter environment serving a mobile and distributed user community, preferably at a medium to large size organization.
Strong understanding of network, device and application security concepts.
Experience with a broad range of technical security solutions, such as, NGFW, DLP, NAC, APT, AV, SIEM, wireless, and mobile security
Experience in security fine-tuning (hardening) of workstation, servers, applications, routers and firewalls.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 standards and Risk Management.
Solid experience and knowledge of Windows operating systems, moderate knowledge of Linux and basic understanding of Mac-OS.
Attention to detail. Clear logical and analytical thinker. A determination to get to the root cause of a problem.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Good verbal, written and numeric skills.
Ability to travel or work overtime, as needed.
