Senior Mainframe Developer

Job Description
- Support multiple COBOL, JCL batch/CICS, VSAM/DB2, zOS and online applications
- Complete various production support activities such as: analyzing, coding, testing, debugging, maintenance, and documentation
- Manage allocation of time efficiently between multiple project phases
- Attend project meetings and report status as needed
- 5-10 years of mainframe applications experience working with VSAM DB2 CICS
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with DB2 and CICS required
- Experience in creating and deploying stored procedures in DB2.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development life cycle.
- At least 5 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Experience working on web-based applications - .Net
- In-depth Systems Analysis experience required
- Experience with at least one debugging tool
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- May need to work some on-call hours to support application/production.
