Job Description

Our client is on the hunt for a dynamic Sales Manager to catapult their business to unprecedented heights. The ideal candidate is a change agent, eager to take our client's sales and partnerships to the next level through innovative sales strategies, identifying new opportunities, and meticulously crafting business plans focused on enhancing EBITDA. *This role has hybrid flexibility but must be based in the Michigan (lower peninsula) area and willing to travel. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Strategically develop, validate, and refine business plans and products to secure a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers to secure both replacement and new business, aiming for substantial revenue growth.
  • Forge and nurture relationships with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, becoming a trusted partner for business expansion.
  • Keep a pulse on market trends, regulatory changes, competitive landscapes, and growth estimates to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Expand and deepen relationships with key Tier 1 and OEM customers, focusing on profitable growth.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of RFQs, business reviews, strategic plans, and pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with internal teams and management.
  • Engage in customer negotiations, presenting quotations and finalizing pricing to win business.
  • Provide crucial insights to the product engineering team, ensuring product development aligns with market opportunities.
  • Serve as a vital link between sales and other departments, fostering a collaborative environment for cross-functional projects.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of business development/sales experience in the automotive manufacturing industry 
  • Previous engagement with manufacturing teams and a solid understanding of the OEM landscape.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced presentation skills, with the ability to become a product expert across various domains.
  • Willingness to travel 1-3 times a month as needed to meet business goals

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
