Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for a SAP Order to Deliver Operations Specialist for a 6 month + Contract. We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist with a strong background in SAP, logistics, and operational management of product order entry to delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain processes, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of optimizing operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to effectively manage the end-to-end process of product order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Leverage your extensive experience with SAP to effectively manage and optimize the company's logistics and supply chain operations.
- Utilize SAP functionalities to streamline processes, track inventory, monitor order status, and generate reports for informed decision-making.
- Oversee the complete order entry to delivery process, ensuring orders are processed accurately, and products are delivered to customers on time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, production, and distribution to maintain seamless order flow.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency of the logistics network.
- Coordinate transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities to minimize lead times, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Continuously analyze existing operational processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices, automation solutions, and process reengineering to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive SAP Experience hands-on experience working with SAP in logistics and supply chain management.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end operations within a complex supply chain environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, achieve targets, and drive continuous improvement.
- Supply chain certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are advantageous.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
