Job Description

Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a SAP IBP Program & Site Deployment Lead for a 6-month+ contract opportunity. We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Program & Site Deployment Lead to drive the successful implementation of advanced supply planning processes across multiple manufacturing sites within the SAP ecosystem. This role serves as the primary functional and site lead for SAP IBP deployment activities, partnering closely with business leaders, IT solution architects, deployment teams, and supply planning stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, adoption, and stabilization.
 
The SAP IBP Program & Site Deployment Lead will own end-to-end site readiness, testing coordination, training delivery, data validation, and go-live execution. This individual will play a critical role in aligning technical system capabilities with business planning processes, ensuring operational readiness and long-term sustainability.

 

Responsibilities and Requirements

 

  • Partner closely with business leads, IT solution architects, deployment group resources, and supply planning teams to implement newly designed planning processes within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Serve as primary FTP/IBP lead for assigned manufacturing sites, owning readiness, execution, and stabilization activities for all site resources. 
  • Build strong working relationships with site teams to drive adoption, alignment, and accountability. 
  • Own successful delivery of approved planning processes (technical and business) for assigned sites and supply planning teams. 
  • Build and maintain SAP IBP templates, alerts, and reports to support business validation and operational readiness. 
  • Support data readiness efforts including validation, migration tracking, issue identification, and escalation. 
  • Lead defect and issue management during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Day-in-the-Life (DITL), and Learning Lab sessions 
  • Coordinate testing activities, track defects, and ensure timely resolution across business and IT teams. 
  • Deliver end-user training content and ensure users are prepared for go-live. 
  • Monitor cutover and readiness checklists, proactively identifying gaps or risks. 
  • Track and manage risks, issues, and action items to enable successful go-live and post-go-live stabilization. 
  • Support change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, and adoption readiness.
  • Document key decisions, lessons learned, and post-go-live stabilization plans. 
  • Provide structured status updates and executive-ready reporting on site readiness and program progress.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting ERP implementations, global programs, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
  • Direct hands-on experience with SAP IBP modules (Supply, Response, Inventory Optimization)
  • Experience working with SAP IBP templates and alerts 
  • Strong project coordination skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Experience supporting testing, data migration, and/or end-user training activities 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong task tracking and follow-through capabilities 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams); Smartsheet and ADO experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Flexible to support a primarily US-based program (alignment with US time zones required; EST preferred
  • Availability to travel (expected <20%) for training sessions, workshops, or project activities - all within the continental US
