Job Description
iMPact Business Group is assisting a Client hire multiple Full-Stack Ruby on Rails Developers.
Our software development client is growing and has produced their own SAAS product offering and is hiring for their Software Development team.
These positions are permanent/direct hire roles (W2 Only).
These positions are using an on-site work model, as such Candidates need to reside within a reasonable distance to Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Developers joining this team will work on -
- New Software Development initiatives creating new Software Products going from concept to production
- Enhancements and Updates to existing Software Products to best meet changing customer requirements
- Participating in brainstorming sessions and influencing the technical direction of the products produced by this firm
- Helping to identify opportunities for product and process improvement for Software Development
- Implementing / Integrating with internal and external APIs, Microservices, Background Processes, and Angular applications
- Design and implement integration with 3rd party vendor products
Job Requirements
Ideal Background -
- 5-10 years experience developing systems with Ruby on Rails (RoR / Rails)
- Strong Full Stack (BE/FE) Software Development experience
- Solid SQL database experience
- Experience with MicroServices
- Experience with the following is ideal - ( as many as possible )
- Kafka
- Docker
- Angular
- MySQL
- AWS
- React
- TypeScript

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
