Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced reliability engineer to perform failure mode and effects analysis on two dredges. The reliability engineer will be responsible for identifying potential failure modes and their effects, determining the likelihood and severity of each failure mode, and developing strategies to mitigate or eliminate these risks.

- Conduct a thorough failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) on two dredges.
- Provide last known repair dates for all components on the dredges.
- Identify vulnerabilities in the dredges and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Benchmark the life of components on the dredges and provide recommendations for replacement intervals.
- Provide advice on current dredge maintenance issues and other issues within their expertise.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to develop and implement reliability improvement initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with FMEA.
- Experience with dredges or similar heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with reliability engineering tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- The reliability engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of the two dredges.
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in reliability engineering, experience with dredges or similar heavy equipment, and the ability to work independently and remotely.
