Job Description

Our client, a Global Leader in the Crop Nutrition Industry has an immediate opening for an  Lab Technician for a 6-12 month contract for our client located in Parrish, FL.  Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day!  You will also work with other like-minded, self-directed, and detail-oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.  
Job Responsibilities
 
Site Location: Four Corners - Onsite only. 60-70% of job is outside work; 90% Physical
Work Schedule: 6a-2p; Monday - Friday
Schedule Specifics: 6 Months - 1 Year

Description of Assignment:

This role provides field and plant metallurgical support to mining operations through sampling and testing of phosphate rock prospect core samples and plant samples. These samples are used by mine planning, engineering and operations management to evaluate mining plans, operating conditions and ore reserves.

Responsibilities:
* Miscellaneous job-related duties.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on lab equipment.
* Conduct plant tests and sampling related to processes within minerals operations.
* Operate and maintain various laboratory equipment (core washer, flotation machines etc.).
* Perform processing and testing procedures on matrix prospect core samples.

Job Requirements

Required:
* High School/GED required.
* 1+ years of Laboratory experience required. 
 * Must be authorized to work in the United States.
 
Background check/drug screening required

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
