Quality Inspection Technician

Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
Position is in our clients Customer Quality Department. Tasks are to evaluate, test, repair, clean and package returned hardware units.
Ideally 1 3 years experience as a technician/assembler/service associate, but will take someone with no experience if they have Associates or University degree
Supports and executes in the inspection, evaluation, repair, cleaning, testing and packaging of returned equipment.
Able to document outcomes of repairs and escalate any issues. May work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with testing equipment and following procedures. May identify problems and suggest solutions. Able to lift and handle equipment using appropriate tools.
Repairing equipment in low/medium volume setting. Able to troubleshoot and diagnose failures and make simple repairs. Refurbishing equipment returned from field to allow use.
Good documentation ability, ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot failures
Ability to work independently, attention to detail and ability to take pride and ownership for work done
