Job Description
Our client, a global automotive manufacturing company here in the Grand Rapids area, is looking for a Sr Quality Engineer to join their team!
You'll be part of a team that's driving innovation in the automotive industry backed by cutting-edge technology and a people-first culture.
This position will involve:
- Will have a focus on APQP
- Making sure the highest quality of parts are delivered to the customers Supporting suppliers, customers, operations and program launches
- Ensuring IATF16949 compliance Internal Auditing PPAP submissions
- Developing and managing quality systems
- Supporting corrective action processes
- Problem solving Analysis of quality documentation Customer interaction/communication
- Creating/writing quality plans and procedures
- Making sure job performance standards are met
- Collaborating with other departments on continuous improvement projects.
Job Requirements
Must have:
- 2+ years of automotive manufacturing experience in quality
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
- Fast paced, motivated personality
- Lean Manufacturing experience
