Job Description

Our client, a global leader in the Automotive Industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality standards are met and maintained across all products and processes. This is a unique opportunity to work with a team of experts in the field and contribute to the growth and success of a well-established and respected organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize statistical and problem-solving tools (8D, 5Y, Fishbone, etc.) to analyze and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions in response to non-conformances.
  • Analyze SPC data to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain error-proofing/mistake-proofing methods in production cells.
  • Participate in APQP team activities, including IMDS submissions, Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Charts.
  • Oversee the management and implementation of new processes related to new product launches.
  • Collaborate on plant continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
  • Engage with customers and participate in quality reporting, management reviews, and meetings.
  • Recommend process improvements based on data analysis and quality assessments.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of quality engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in process engineering.
  • Strong familiarity with lean manufacturing and process flow.
  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, negotiation, and written communication.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with internal teams and external customers.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preference:

  • Automotive manufacturing experience is a significant plus.
  • Experience with ISO-16949 and ISO-9001 standards.
