Our Client, a leader in complex automotive components, is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. As a quality engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*    Develop and implement quality control plans for the automotive manufacturing process
*    Conduct process and product audits and develop corrective actions as needed
*    Ensure compliance with industry standards, including IATF 16949 and customer specific requirements
*    Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement
*    Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, process flow diagrams, and inspection procedures
*    Use statistical process control (SPC) tools to monitor and improve quality
*    Participate in customer and supplier quality meetings and develop action plans as needed
*    Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that new products meet quality standards
*    Provide training to employees on quality control procedures and tools

Job Requirements

*    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
*    3+ years of experience in quality engineering in an automotive manufacturing environment
*    Knowledge of quality control processes, including IATF 16949 and statistical process control (SPC) tools
*    Experience with control plans, FMEA, and root cause analysis
*    Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
*    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
*    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*    Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint

*    Six Sigma certification
*    Experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
*    Bilingual in Spanish and English
