Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet the company's short-term and long-term production needs while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on their capabilities, reliability, and overall performance, ensuring a robust supply base to support our production demands.
- Negotiate and establish favorable terms and agreements with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, on-time delivery, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of purchased components and materials into our production process.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and fostering a partnership-oriented approach.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Implement and maintain procurement best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience with atleast 3+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost savings and improved efficiency.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, materials, and quality requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and systems for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
