Our client in the Ayer, MA area is currently looking for a Program Manager to join their team!

The Program Manager function provides overall direction and management to specific development and production contracts and internal programs of the company. As such the Program Manager is responsible for program budgets, cost reporting, coordination of resources, and customer interface under minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manages and directs, with full authority, all phases of program(s) from inception to completion.
Coordinates proposal preparation.
Establishes and monitors master plans and schedules.
Oversees the development of design concepts and test criteria.
Directs the integration of a program team, which may include: Purchasing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Administrative functional areas.
Establishes and maintains contacts to ensure conformance to requirements.
Directs administration of contracts & communicates with the customer.
Responsible for program P&L including but not limited to: Budgets, Actual Costs, Estimates to Complete, Invoicing, and Receivables.
Supervises project related tasks within Engineering Services, Project Engineering, Cost Accounting, and other departments assigned to designated Programs.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization' s policies and applicable laws. Plans, assigns, and directs work of others.

Bachelors of Science in Engineering
5 years experience with over $1 Million program responsibilities including:
Earned Value and proposal writing experience
Managing all phases of the program from inception to completion
Establishing and monitoring master plans and schedules
Power Electronics experience preferred
Must be able to interface with engineering, manufacturing and management personnel.
Good human relation skills
