Production Supervisor

Our client, a prominent figure in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a proactive and experienced Production Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Talladega, AL. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of professionals across Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Production departments. It's tailored for an individual who is not only a hands-on problem solver but also passionate about pushing operational boundaries to enhance daily production efficiency, maintenance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise personnel across production, quality, and engineering and maintenance in an automotive assembly environment 
• Fine-tune molding parameters to ensure product quality and maximize production output.
• Apply problem-solving skills to develop corrective actions for customer issues and spearhead continuous improvement.
• Manage tooling and equipment, including scheduling repair and maintenance.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment within the assembly department by resolving issues with effective technical or mechanical solutions.
• Foster positive employee relations, complying with company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping practices.
• Oversee inventory management of raw materials and liaise with engineering management for external maintenance and repair services.
• Lead all maintenance efforts, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of assembly equipment.

• 6+ years of automotive manufacturing experience 
• 5+ years in a leadership role
•

• Bachelors Degree
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and processes, including indirect reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills, able to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Committed to the principles of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Six Sigma certification
