The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production processes of our plastics manufacturing team. This includes managing and training a team of production workers, ensuring that production goals are met, and implementing quality control measures. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and ensuring that all production processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train a team of production workers, including setting performance goals and providing feedback and coaching
  • Ensure that production processes are running efficiently and effectively, and take action to resolve any issues that arise
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports, and use data to identify areas for improvement
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet company standards and customer specifications
  • Ensure that safety protocols are being followed and that the work environment is safe for all employees
  • Communicate with other departments and management to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that arise
  • Work with the Plant Manager to develop and implement plans for achieving production goals, including managing costs and improving productivity

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisor or management role, preferably in a plastics manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with quality control and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using Excel for data analysis.
