Production Supervisor

Job Description
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production processes of our plastics manufacturing team. This includes managing and training a team of production workers, ensuring that production goals are met, and implementing quality control measures. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and ensuring that all production processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train a team of production workers, including setting performance goals and providing feedback and coaching
- Ensure that production processes are running efficiently and effectively, and take action to resolve any issues that arise
- Maintain accurate production records and reports, and use data to identify areas for improvement
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that products meet company standards and customer specifications
- Ensure that safety protocols are being followed and that the work environment is safe for all employees
- Communicate with other departments and management to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that arise
- Work with the Plant Manager to develop and implement plans for achieving production goals, including managing costs and improving productivity
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisor or management role, preferably in a plastics manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with quality control and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using Excel for data analysis.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
