Job Description

Our client a global automotive manufacturer in the Spartanburg SC, is actively looking for a Production Superintendent for their night shift operation! 
Typical hours of 3rd shift are: 10pm-6am, Mon-Fri.

 
As a Night Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the night shift production team. Your primary objective will be to ensure efficient and high-quality production processes, while maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the night shift production team, including a Production Supervisor, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to direct and indirect reports, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective strategies to optimize productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Manage staffing levels, schedule shifts, and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement, promoting a positive work environment.

Job Requirements

Must have:
  • 10+ years of manufacturing industry experience
  • 7+years of leadership experience 
  • 2+years of automotive manufacturing experience 

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
