Production Planning Analyst
Job Description
Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Productions Planning Analyst for a 18 Month Contract. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Planning Analyst for an 18-month contract assignment at our manufacturing facility in Mahwah, NJ. In this role, you will support production operations by coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate inventory records, and collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are aligned with production goals.
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely fulfillment of manufacturing requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy and availability of materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers to confirm delivery schedules, manage shortages, and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze production capacity and material availability to anticipate and prevent potential disruptions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain performance.
- Use ERP systems to manage planning data, track inventory transactions, and generate reports.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance scheduling efficiency and inventory accuracy.
Job Requirements
What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
