Job Description
Are you a seasoned manufacturing professional with a passion for driving team success? Our client is seeking a Production Manager to lead and inspire their dynamic production team. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-volume environment while working with cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily team meetings, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
- Lead and engage in team activities to meet and exceed performance objectives.
- Coordinate the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and employees to optimize production.
- Mentor and train team leaders and members, cultivating a positive work atmosphere.
- Track time sheets and attendance records, ensuring timely completion of performance reviews.
- Address staffing needs and resolve personnel issues promptly.
- Implement ergonomic production layouts for efficient process flows.
- Establish robust data collection systems for quality and resource tracking.
- Ensure strict compliance with TS-16949 procedures and work guidance.
- Contribute to advanced product quality planning, developing control plans and work guidance.
- Identify effective monitoring and data collection systems for critical processes and parameters.
- Assess personnel and resource capabilities, assigning tasks accordingly.
- Maintain schedules and meet weekly production requirements.
- Oversee information systems and production data procedures.
- Ensure comprehensive training and development for all team members.
- Collaborate with other departments in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate production equipment to meet schedules.
- Guide and engage in departmental continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure timely reporting and investigation of accidents.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business field. (Twelve years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA industry health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in management information systems and application software.
- Extensive manufacturing management experience in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and people skills.
Preferences:
- Current pursuit of a degree in a technical or business field.
- Familiarity with synchronous manufacturing principles.
- Experience with TS-16949 compliance.
- Prior experience in implementing ergonomic production layouts.

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
