To plan, design and implement methods to improve production efficiency. To support production on isolation and countermeasures of O.E.E problems, support in claim investigation and countermeasure activity. To design and install jigs and fixtures, maximizing machine layout and participating with Kaizen activities.
Design and install jigs and fixtures for both new and existing part types
Design, implement and evaluate process changes
Assist with the training activities of production Line Coordinators and Line Leaders
Suggest and participate with Kaizen projects
Develop, monitor and implement safety machine guarding and features
Perform CNC programming
Assist production and quality with claim countermeasures
Support production to ensure production goals are met
Assist production in meeting production goals through O.E.E, scrap and quality
Bachelors degree required
2+ years of experience required
Ability to produce drawings free from errors through the use of the Catia, AutoCad and Inventor software.
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing and processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment
Knowledge and understanding of core engineering skills including APQP, FMEA, PQCT s. Blueprint reading and core quality tools
Knowledge and understanding of the ISO & TS standards and MIOSHA
