Job Description
Our customer, a local Grand Rapids Manufacturer, is seeking a Product Engineering Support Technician to join their growing team! This role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure accurate product data, technical support, and continuous improvement.
What you'll get to do:
- Maintain product documentation (drawings, BOMs, and related data)
- Provide technical support for Operations, Sales, and Customer Service
- Support sustaining engineering and cost‑reduction initiatives
- Assist with value engineering, testing, and supplier transitions
- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively
Job Requirements
What you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering support
- High School Diploma required
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience, Oracle preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints
- CAD/SolidWorks experience a plus
