Job Description

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join their innovative team. This pivotal role focuses on the development and enhancement of automotive parts, bridging the gap between design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to bring new products to market and optimize existing ones. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with design teams to develop and implement innovative, cost-effective solutions for automotive parts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Utilize CAD software to design and prototype components, conducting comprehensive testing to validate performance, durability, and safety.
  • Support manufacturing processes, addressing any issues to ensure a seamless transition from prototype to mass production.
  • Establish and oversee quality control procedures, ensuring products adhere to high-quality standards and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for product and process optimization.
  • Generate detailed engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain and quality assurance, to achieve project objectives and timelines.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in product engineering within the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, CATIA, CREO etc)
  • Expertise in FEA analysis tools.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and materials relevant to automotive parts.
  • Solid experience with the product development lifecycle, from concept through to production launch.
