Job Description

Our customer a leading manufacturer based in Grand Rapids, MI is looking tor a Product Engineer to join their team! If you are ready to make a difference and are results driven, this job is for you. 

Here's what you'll do:

The Product Engineer will be responsible for transforming innovative ideas/concepts into creative and functional new products that satisfy customer needs. The Product Engineer reports to the Product Engineering Manager.
 
  • Define new product concepts
  • Assist in development of new product protocol
  • Assist with the development of the product design and functionality 
  • FEA analysis, and testing programs
  • Implement the product design within the schedule and budget
  • Analyze the risks of a new design or process and communicate results
  • Provide support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design
  • Communicate with key members in the organization and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Here's what you'll need: 

  • Work Experience: 5 + years of experience in Product Engineering
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical) 
  • SolidWorks, AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • FEA Analysis
  • Strong problem - solving skills 

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees

Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
