Product Development Engineer

Opportunity Overview
Our client is seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Development Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of medical products through creative design and engineering. As a key player in the product lifecycle, you'll lead projects from inception to completion, enhancing product performance and driving advancements. If you have a passion for engineering and technology, coupled with a knack for mechanical design and strategic planning, this is your chance to make a significant impact in the medical device industry.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead the design and development of new medical products, from conceptualization to market launch.
  • Enhance and refine existing product designs, focusing on performance and user experience.
  • Create detailed engineering specifications and conduct rigorous testing for product quality and reliability.
  • Manage project elements including timelines, budgets, and documentation, ensuring adherence to client needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts to meet project goals and design specifications.
 

Job Requirements

Must have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related specialty.
  • 2-4 years of experience in product development/design 
  • Experience with Solidworks CAD Design 

Prefer:
  • Experience with in the medical device manufacturing sector

Contract positions

Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment. 

 

Permanent placed employees
