Job Description

*On-site in Benton Harbor, MI / Hybrid Schedule (M, T, THUR in office. Wed & Fri at home optional)

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain payroll data in our clients SAP payroll system by updating the applicable info-types entries and audit/verify results to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality in dealing with employee records and payroll information with a high degree of quality and accuracy 
  • Support case management efforts as needed for payroll inquiries and provide data maintenance entries to resolve case inquiries and requests 
  • Review and action payroll-related cases by agreed service levels in the ServiceNow case management system 
  • Monitor and analyze payroll interface errors to determine appropriate action 
  • Ensure adherence to company, federal, state, local and payroll-related policies are met 
  • Participate in the development and production of reports for audits and data accuracy 
  • Prioritize competing requests while ensuring payroll deadlines are met 
  • Participate in ad hoc activities as needed (i.e. testing, metric gathering, reporting, special project support, etc.) 
  • Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Desktop Procedures) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes. 

Job Requirements

Must Have Skills:

 

  • Data entry experience 
  • Account receivable experience 
  • Analytical Skills 
  • Payroll Certification (CPP) *nice to have 
  • Experience with SAP Payroll and HR modules is preferred *nice to have 
  • Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) preferred *nice to have
  • Experience with MS Excel , Google suite (mail, sheets, docs) (Pivot tables) *must be able to use excel is a must
  • Associates Degree 
  • *Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Accounting
