Job Description
Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacture has an immediate opening for a Supply Planning Coordinator for a 18 Month Contract opportunity. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst, Supply Planning to join our Supply Chain team. This entry-level, individual contributor position plays a key role in supporting daily supply planning operations by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of inventory and material records.
In this role, you'll perform essential transactional tasks that enable the broader supply planning function to run smoothly. You'll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to track inventory movement, process key documentation, and identify any discrepancies in the system

Responsibilities
- Issue suggested purchase orders based upon MRP system suggestions and customer demand.
- Request changes to purchase order dates from suppliers based upon MRP system suggestions and demand changes.
- Update MRP system to ensure clear communication of expected inventory.
- Monitor open purchase orders and ensure on-time receipt.
- Issue purchase orders to support engineering changes.
- Update the business on the status and direction of your business on a daily basis or as required.
- Update internal customers supply issues and drive them to resolution.
- Coordinate engineering changes between internal customers and suppliers.
- Update purchase orders as required.
- Manage supplier to maintain continuity of supply and product availability.
- Challenge all price increase requests from suppliers and escalate if unsuccessful.
- Serve as single point of contact for suppliers for SICR/Change Order tracking and prioritization.
- Hold suppliers accountable to the shipment plan.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems a plus (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business tools
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, collaborative environment
