Supply Chain Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Supply Chain Analyst for a 12+ month contract to support process improvement initiatives across our supply chain operations. This individual will work cross-functionally to analyze performance gaps, propose operational enhancements, and coordinate implementations in collaboration with engineering, IT, and quality teams. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data analysis, supply chain optimization, and technology integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large sets of supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, root causes, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, warehouse teams, and IT professionals to develop, test, and implement process improvements
- Support and lead projects such as warehouse inventory optimization, inbound logistics restructuring, and supplier/carrier performance improvements
- Use SQL and other data tools to extract insights and support decision-making
- Translate business operations issues into technical requirements for IT and systems teams
- Conduct site visits to warehouses or supplier locations as needed to evaluate process and workflow performance
- Build and maintain dashboards or reports to track project KPIs and performance improvements
- Assist in vendor and carrier relationship assessments and performance tracking
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 2-5+ years of experience in a supply chain, logistics, or operations analysis role
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience supporting multi-site operations or warehouse environments preferred
- Prior project management or lean process improvement exposure is a plus
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with regular business hours (Monday-Friday)
- Occasional travel to warehouses or distribution centers as required
- May involve remote flexibility depending on business needs
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
