Vice President of Sales
Location: Clearwater / St. Petersburg, Florida
Industry: Medical & Industrial Gloves, Infection Prevention Products
Our client, a global innovator in infection prevention and hand protection solutions, is seeking a Vice President of Sales to drive commercial success across their U.S. market. This is a pivotal executive role, ideal for a visionary leader who excels at building scalable sales strategies, optimizing team performance, and forging key client partnerships in a rapidly evolving, global business landscape.
As part of the executive team, the VP of Sales will be responsible for shaping and executing a revenue-focused roadmap, leading a high-performing national sales organization, and ensuring alignment with cross-functional partners. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to scale legacy and next-gen products, while helping modernize the commercial backbone of a dynamic, post-acquisition enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Growth Strategy
- Develop and lead the execution of a scalable, data-informed national sales strategy.
- Identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities across channels, territories, and product lines.
- Build and manage a high-performance sales team, emphasizing KPIs, accountability, and coaching.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Finance to ensure strong go-to-market alignment.
- Serve as executive sponsor on major accounts and negotiations, supporting upselling and retention.
Client Development & Market Intelligence
- Strengthen relationships with strategic partners, distributors, and healthcare customers.
- Monitor competitive intelligence and market trends to adjust positioning and sales tactics.
- Leverage CRM tools and analytics to improve forecasting, pipeline visibility, and deal conversion.
Operational Optimization
- Collaborate with internal departments to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Implement SOPs and performance metrics that drive consistent execution and service delivery.
- Use data to support cross-functional decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Organizational Alignment & Execution
- Partner with executive and departmental leaders to ensure business priorities are well-integrated.
- Cultivate a culture of shared ownership, clarity, and collaboration across sales and operational teams.
- Support the design of an agile, scalable organizational structure aligned with long-term growth goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, medical device, or industrial PPE.
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams in a high-growth environment.
- Deep expertise in B2B sales strategy, key account management, and channel development.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen; capable of building budgets, forecasts, and ROI models.
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration in a mid- to large-sized enterprise.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or healthcare supply chains.
- Experience integrating post-merger or acquired commercial organizations.
- Global or multi-national sales experience.
- Familiarity with infection control, industrial glove markets, or related safety sectors.
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
Requirements
- Onsite position in Clearwater, FL
- Domestic & International Travel (3-5 international trips per year)
Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
