Job Description
Our client, a global CPG food manufacturer, is actively looking for a Bid Coordinator for a 3+mo contract position!
100% remote position
Typical day shift Mon-Fri position
Position Description
- Manage the non-profit and for-profit bid and contract processes.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and financially sound pricing decisions and contract integrity.
- Manage the process within Specialty Channels Vistex system and other customer-managed bid and contract systems.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding contracts.
- Review and analyze bid requests, providing recommendations on pricing.
- Analyze bid recaps (win/loss/share data).
- Identify risks and opportunities and capture competitive information.
- Ensure accuracy of data, timely submissions, and compliance with internal audit guidelines.
Skills Required
- Team player
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP/Vistex is a plus
- Strong time management, organization, analytical, and attention to detail skills
- Self-starter
Skills Preferred
- Attention to detail
- Experience with Bid Docs, Legal Docs, etc.
Experience Required
- 1 to 2 years of similar experience with commercial bidding processes?
Experience Preferred
- Experience in the food service bid process preferred
Education Required
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
