Job Description
Our Client, a leader in the Automotive Industry, is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization and ensuring that all processes are running smoothly. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability, as well as managing personnel and ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed.
Responsibilities:
* Be a champion of the culture, with Safety and Quality as top priorities - in a fast paced environment
* Establish goals, performance targets, and performance standards for the production function
* Ensure accountability and discipline within the production department; motivate supervisors and employees to achieve peek productivity and performance
* Chair daily cross functional meetings between departments
* Attend weekly meetings: metal purchasing review, staff, operations, key metrics, program launch and any other meetings requiring production representation
* Develop and analyze production and plant reports
* Interact with customers and guests
* Work with HR on manning issues and staffing
* Provide direction, development, and leadership to Production Supervisors
* Conduct performance reviews on direct reports
* Promote, monitor, and ensure a safe work environment
* Comply with all safety and environmental policies and procedures
* Participate in special projects as needed or assigned by manager
* Maintain a clean, organized facility

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
Permanent placed employees
Paid by and qualify for benefits in accordance with the policies of the hiring company.
