Operations Manager

Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our clients CNC manufacturing operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, inventory management, quality control, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC manufacturing and a proven track record of managing teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production to meet customer demand while maximizing production efficiency
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize inventory holding costs and optimize stock levels
- Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhered to, including product inspection and testing
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency
- Manage and motivate a team of production staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless production and delivery of products
- Manage equipment maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in CNC manufacturing operations management
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment
- Experience in inventory management and production planning
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, and other departments
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a manufacturing environment

Contract positions
Will be employed and paid hourly by iMPact Business Group. Benefits (medical, dental & vision) are available after 90 days of employment.
