Materials Coordinator
Job Description
Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry has an immediate opening for an Materials Coordinator for a 18 month + Contract. The Materials Coordinator will primarily responsible for the receiving, inspecting, and stocking of Medical implant kits. This role at times will also be responsible for processing customer orders. Responsible for performing various duties and functions within the distribution team in support of team goals.
9am Start Time M-F
Position Description (Principle Duties and Responsibilities)
- Receive inbound kits daily by type - Implant or Instrument.
- Use RF Scanner to receive, inspect, replenish parts used for surgical kits.
- Ensure that inventory used to replenish kits is transacted appropriately.
- Re-shrink wraps sterile items as needed.
- Will work with team members in the order fulfillment process to include order pulling, order prep, and running ADSI/FedEx Ship Manager.
- Coordinates with customer service to cover kit expedites.
- Primary focus will be on receiving parts and shipping of outbound orders. May also help with creation of order kits and inventory control projects.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in a similar role highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager
- Familiarity with Enterprise ERP Systems such as JDEdwards, SAP, SalesForce
- Excellent communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
